Hello, thanks for providing me the opportunity to learn some Spanish for my law enforcement career. I did enjoy the course. I"m very positive this will be very helpful in the future when I come in contact with a Spanish speaker. I still have a lot to learn myself, but this was a very helpful step. Thanks again, I'll be sure to refer all my friends if they ever decide to learn a new language
I like the word of the day emails. The course is great. I have a hard time with the short simple words, but the sentences are a breeze. I've never taken spanish before and am learning so much from this course. I am learning spanish for work as I am a nurse and we have a large client base who don't speak any English. I try to practice every day. I am retaining a lot of what I've learned. I would recommend this course. I think it's a great value for the money as long as your motivated.
I am enjoying the LanguageAuthority Spanish for Law Enforcement course! I took six years of Spanish in high school (graduated in 2010) but soon realized that not very much of what I had learned was going to help me make a traffic stop! I am hoping to establish my law enforcement career in California or Arizona and this course has proven to be extremely helpful so far! I would spend even more time on it if I was able to! The games are a great way to drill the vocabulary into my head, hangman is my personal favorite because I also have to know how to spell the words I learn.
This course was fantastic! My listening skills increased substantially simply by honestly participating in the verbal skill sessions. It is extremely important to use the microphone and headset so that you can hear yourself when you repeat words or phrases.
I do like the course. It was informative. It would help me more if I could hear some sample responses to the questions I use; the questions given in this course. More often than not, I think that I could use the answers, also. I "like" that my instructor made herself available to me for questions and answered my questions in a fairly timely manner. Being able to ask someone questions was inportant to be. It made it seem more like a class than simply rehersing on a computer. I do like this part of the class (:
